Yuba County SELPA
The Yuba County Special Education Local Planning Area (SELPA) is one of approximately 120 SELPAs within California. SELPAs must ensure that special education services are available to all eligible children residing within the region and oversee the distribution of funds to districts. Each SELPA has developed a Local Plan describing how it will provide special education services. Even though there are many organizational structures for a SELPA, all SELPAs have the same basic goal: to deliver high quality special education programs and services to the students with disabilities in the most effective manner.
