Operations Council
The governing boards of Yuba County SELPA established an Operations Council to develop procedures for the operation of programs and services within the SELPA. The Council is chaired by the SELPA Administrator. The members participating in the Operations Council include: Marysville Joint Unified School District, Wheatland Elementary School District, Wheatland Union High School District, Plumas Lake Elementary School District, California Montessori Project Consortium and Yuba County Superintendent of Schools. Camptonville Union Elementary School District is a direct service school district and is represented by the Yuba County Superintendent of Schools. Each member has one vote in Operations Council. The Operations Council meets ten times during the school year.
SELPA Superintendents' Council
The LEA governing boards agree that they shall participate in the operation of the SELPA for the purposes of ensuring the provision of programs and services. The Superintendents' Council facilitates this responsibility. The Superintendents' Council reviews and adopts SELPA policies, procedures, regulations, agreements and Memoranda of Understanding. The SELPA Administrator will draft recommended policies in consultation with LEA representatives. The LEAs participating in the Superintendents' Council are: Camptonville Union Elementary School District, Marysville Joint Unified School District, Wheatland Elementary School District, Wheatland Union High School District, Plumas Lake Elementary School District, Yuba County Superintendent of Schools and California Montessori Project Consortium. There is one vote for California Montessori Project Consortium as California Montessori Project Consortium LEAs function under the direction of one Superintendent.
