FAMILY ACTIVITY:

  • Parents can talk to their children about the importance of always saying thank you and being grateful for all they have.
  • Take time to tell your children how thankful you are that they are such an important part of your life.
  • As a family, discuss the things you are thankful for.
  • Thank your children for something kind they have done for you recently.

CLASS ACTIVITY:

  • Teachers can have their students write thank you notes to parents or other members of the community who have donated their time or other resources to the school.

HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITY:

  • At a school assembly publicly thank the school's support staff. They do so much work behind the scenes to keep the school functioning.
  • Abraham Lincoln decreed Thanksgiving during the Civil War. What do we, as a country, have to be thankful for?
