FAMILY ACTIVITY:

  • Encourage your children to be involved in the community through Scouts, 4-H, church youth groups, or charities.
  • For no special reason have a family party, just to tell your family that you love them. Everyone should contribute something to the party.
  • Go somewhere fun with your children.

CLASS ACTIVITY:

  • As a class collect old clothing and donate it to Goodwill or the Salvation Army.
  • Take a class collection and donate the food to a local charity.
  • Have students write and perform skits demonstrating people helping each other and thanking the people who helped them.

HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITY:

  • Have representatives from local charities come and present ideas for opportunities to get involved in volunteer activities.
