FAMILY ACTIVITY:
- Work with your children on difficult tasks around the house. Give
them a part to play to help them be part of the family team.
- If your child is interested in sports, encourage him or her to
join a local sporting league. Tell them how proud you are of them
when they play hard and work for the team's good.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
- Set a class goal, such as reading a certain number of books in a
specific amount of time, and reward the class as a group when they
reach their goal.
- Encourage seating groups to work together on difficult assignments
and on projects, such as memorizing spelling lists.
HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITY:
- Encourage students to work together to prepare for standardized
tests by writing a synopsis of areas likely to be covered in the
tests and distribute them. This is a practical example of team work.
