FAMILY ACTIVITY:
- Parents can discuss with their children the importance of always
being polite and courteous to others, including always saying the
magic words "please" and "thank you."
- Have your children write thank you notes to people who give them
gifts or go out of their way to help them.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
- Encourage students to be polite in the classroom by using the
words, "please" and "thank you," and by being
quiet when someone is speaking to the class.
- Have students perform skits that depict a situation where people
are polite.
- Write thank you notes to members of the community who have donated
time, money, or materials to your class.
HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITY:
- Seniors should write personal thank you notes to everyone who has
helped them with their senior projects.
