FAMILY ACTIVITY:

  • Celebrate your children's success in the recent school year. Make sure they know that you are proud of their success. Your recognition of their effort is an important factor in influencing them to continue, or intensify their efforts in the future.
  • Thank the teachers who have made such an important contribution to your child's development and success in the past year.
  • As a family, discuss what each of you is thankful for. Specifically thank your children for something nice they have done for you recently, even if you have already thanked them.

CLASS ACTIVITY:

  • Write thank you notes to community members who have donated time or materials to assist the school during the last year.

HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITY:

  • The officers of the student body should write thank-you notes to community members who have donated time, money, and material to the school during the last year. Long term and major donors should be thanked personally by an officer in the school's name.
